i) A seed may be defined as mature and fertilized ovule containing an embryo under dormant state.

i) Any part of the plants either vegetative or reproductive which is capable of producing a new plant of the same kind.

ii) All kind of plants produce these seeds.

ii) Only phanerogamous plants produce these seeds.

iii) All botanical seeds aren’t agricultural seed.

iii) All agricultural seed are botanical seed
|
iv) This definition is narrow. E.g. rice seed, wheat seed etc.

iv) This definition is broad. E.g. sugarcane sett, potato tuber etc.
