Intensive farming

In intensive cultivation more labour and capital are used in the some plots of land, in other words, land remain fixed in quantity while other factors are increased. Dairy, poultry, vegetables and fruits crop are the example of intensive enterprise.
 
Factors: High population, very fertile land, high demand of products, availability of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides etc.
 

Extensive farming

The farming system in which use of large area of land under cultivation called extensive farming.
 
Factors: Low population, large cropped area. Availability of seed, fertilizers and pesticides, less demand of products.
